From Cleveland by way of Columbus, Goodie Hendrixson is a new standout in the comedy scene, celebrated for her story telling stand-up style and quick improvisational skills. She’s known for mixing everyday life with hilarious and sometimes dark twists, while providing audiences with relatable anecdotes to laugh about.
She is a performer with the Hashtag Comedy Company, who recently opened a performance space in the Short North. Goodie is also in Affirmative Distraction, the only all black improv group in Columbus.
She has a podcast, Intercourse Interviews where she interviews people she’s had sex with, which makes for fun and interesting conversations; available to stream everywhere.
You can catch her performing in venues such as the Funnybone, The Attic, The Kee, and mics and festivals all around the city. Whether she’s planned it or making it up on the spot, Goodie lights up a room every time she’s on stage, making sure everyone is having a good time.
