Jimmy Mak is a comedy writer, author and playwright. He graduated from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of the Arts with a major in English. His plays have been performed in New York, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong. His book of comedy sketches “Shadowboxing” has been published by Sam French. He is the author of the book “Daddies Shouldn’t Breakdance.” His original musical “Underland” was awarded Best New Play of 2013 by Broadwayworld.com. He currently works in Columbus, Ohio, as the head writer for Shadowbox Live, the largest resident theater company in the United States.
